Welcome! I’m John Passadino, a writer, performer, and lifelong observer with over sixty years of stories to share. My journey spans comedy, memoir, and self-improvement, with more than a hundred articles featured on Medium.com. I host the newsletter Lens of Hopefulness on Substack and serve as co-editor for two publications on Medium.com: IT Chronicles, focused on Information Technology, and Contemplate, dedicated to mindfulness and creative inspiration.

I’ve published five books on Amazon, including short stories, humor essays and poetry. Currently, I am President of Hardscrabble Theater in Farmingdale, a board member of the Long Island Author’s Group, and CEO of Passadino Publishing LLC.

Professionally, I completed a rewarding Information Technology career at two Fortune 500 companies and earned an MBA in Technology Management. My creative work includes published short stories, poems, and song lyrics available on Amazon, as well as theatrical comedies and dramas published by Lazy Bee Scripts.

I’ve performed improv and stand-up Off-Broadway in New York City, and have written, acted, and directed plays and sketches on stages across Long Island. I also host The John Passadino Show, where I ask hard questions to find simple answers. The show streams on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, Audible, Substack, and YouTube.
